In 2019, we embarked on an innovative project with FGA, the official distributor of SketchUp in Turkey. This initiative not only gained traction locally but was also adopted and implemented by SketchUp’s global team.
Historically, SketchUp’s marketing strategies primarily revolved around their flagship product, SketchUp Pro. However, unbeknownst to many, this package encompassed a suite of additional tools and software like Layout, 3D Warehouse, and Extension Warehouse, all designed to enhance workflows and presentations. A significant portion of their user base remained unaware of these valuable add-ons.
In collaboration with FGA, we launched a campaign to spotlight the comprehensive nature of SketchUp, emphasizing that it was more than just a singular software. We designed an intuitive and engaging interface using Vue.js on a WordPress platform, offering users a holistic view of all the tools within the SketchUp ecosystem.
Under the leadership of Ulaş Terzioğlu from FGA’s SketchUp team, we produced an informative video showcasing the entirety of the SketchUp ecosystem. This video became the centerpiece of our social media campaign, underscoring the unparalleled value-for-money proposition of SketchUp. The positive ripple effect of our campaign was quickly evident as FGA reported a notable surge in their sales figures.
Our project’s success didn’t go unnoticed. On March 24, 2020, it was featured prominently on SketchUp’s “Partners Networks” portal. But that was just the tip of the iceberg. In recent years, SketchUp has incorporated our pioneering concept of the “SketchUp ecosystem” into their marketing narratives and has even adopted a similar interface design approach in their communications.
